Lokastígur

The house consists of 3 separate shared apartments, each apartment is about 75 sq.m There are usually 4-5 tenants in each apartment, mostly working and renting long term.

Everyone has a private room, which locks and share a kitchen and a bathroom. In the room there is a bed, a closet, a bookshelf, a chair and a desk with a lamp. Tenant is provided with pillow and duvet. There are all necessary things for cooking in the kitchen, as pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, kettle, microwave oven, etc.There is a washing machine in the kitchen as well as a vacuum cleaner, a fridge, an iron. On the second floor there is a dishwasher as well. The house is in 10-15 min walk from the University, 5 min to Bónus grocery store and to the closest bus stop, 3 min to Laugavegur, several minutes walking distance from swimming pool and many museums.

Booking procedure

To book a room 1 month deposit has to be paid in advance within 2 bank days from the moment you confirm the room. (International bank transfer)

By paying the deposit tenant agrees upon renting terms and house rules.

The deposit is kept by landlord during the entire renting period and refunded on departure when the room and mutual area is cleaned, checked for damage and keys returned.

Bed linen

We provide pillow, duvet, mattress protector and blanket.

Linen can be rented or bring your own.

Main house rules

No smoking in the house. No parties are allowed in the apartment. No guests overnight*. Quiet time is after 23.00.

Visitor from abroad

Visitor from abroad is allowed for a short stay (upto 1 week), visitor gets spare bed and pays small fee. Only one visitor at the time.

Included in rent

Heat, electricity, water bills and internet.

One month deposit is kept by landlord during all the renting period and refunded at departure when the room is cleaned, checked for damage and keys returned.
