There are 5 rooms in the apartment 4 single and 1 double which can be rented by 2 friends or as spacious room for 1 person. All rooms are furnished with bed, desk, chair, closet and dresser. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom is shared by 6. There is a washing machine in the apartment.

No parties are allowed in the apartment.

The rent is paid on the 1st of every month.
Heat, electricity, water bills and internet.
One month deposit is kept by landlord during all the renting period and refunded at departure when the room is cleaned, checked for damage and keys returned.
We provide pillow, duvet, mattress protector and blanket.
Linen can be rented or bring your own.
Booking procedure
To book a room 1 month deposit has to be paid in advance within 2 bank days from the moment you confirm the room. (International bank transfer)
By paying the deposit tenant agrees upon renting terms and house rules.

The house consists of 3 separate shared apartments, each apartment is about 75 sq.m There are usually 4-5 tenants in each apartment, mostly working and renting long term.

Tenant is provided with pillow and duvet. There are all necessary things for cooking in the kitchen, as pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, kettle, microwave oven, etc.There is a washing machine in the kitchen as well as a vacuum cleaner, a fridge, an iron. On the second floor there is a dishwasher as well. The house is in 10-15 min walk from the University, 5 min to Bónus grocery store and to the closest bus stop, 3 min to Laugavegur, several minutes walking distance from swimming pool and many museums.

The apartment is the entire 2nd floor, 135 sq.m. in total. There is a big balcony accessed from the mutual living/dining area.
The apartment is located in area called Laugardalur or Hot Spring-Valley and is very nice and calm with a lot of trees and birds. The largest Iceland´s thermal swimming pool, botanical garden and domestic animal zoo are in a few minutes walk. Three gyms in the neighborhood and good jogging paths around and along the ocean shore.
A little mall Glæsibær is 3 min walk away from the house. Shopping point Holtagarðar is 15 min away, there also car rental, mini golf and liquor store are located.
Bus stop(s) are in 5-15 min walk, 15 min bus ride to University of Reykjavik.

The laundry room is beside the apartment. The apartment is located right in the center within walking distance from Bonus supermarket, the University of Iceland and the University of Arts.
